Renner Premium YO-10-C762 WB Polyurethane Furniture Topcoat
Renner 10C762 WB Polyurethane Furniture Topcoat
Renner 10C762 WB Polyurethane Furniture Topcoat is a pigmented 1K water-based acrylic/polyurethane topcoat for interior use, built to pair with Renner's own primer system. It builds a hard, uniform matt finish and stays colour-stable thanks to non-yellowing resins.
Non-Yellowing Finish With Renner 10C762 Polyurethane Topcoat
Formulated with non-yellowing acrylic and polyurethane resins, 10C762 keeps white and pale finishes at their original tone as they age, rather than warming up the way solvent-based alternatives tend to. The film cures hard, with good chemical resistance, from a water-based formula that is formaldehyde-free and compliant with EN71-3:2019.
Matched Primer and Crosslinker System for Renner 10C762
Bare or previously finished timber needs priming first. 10C762 is engineered to work with Renner's pigmented water-based primers, YL-M641 and YL-M643. Where a piece needs extra durability or chemical resistance, the topcoat can be cross-linked with 0.5 to 1% YC-M407, turning the same 1K product into a 2K finish without changing how it applies.
Fast Drying Times on Renner 10C762 Furniture Topcoat
At 20°C and 45 to 65% relative humidity, a 120 g/m² coat is dust-free in 45 minutes, ready to handle in 1.5 hours and stackable after 12 hours, which keeps a production run moving without long waits between stages.

Applying Renner 10C762
Prime bare or previously coated timber with YL-M641 or YL-M643, and sand the substrate with 320 to 400 grit paper first. Apply at full strength rather than thinned with water, since maximum atomisation gives a better finish than dilution. Nozzle and pressure vary by equipment: a conventional spray gun runs a 2 to 2.5 mm nozzle at 3 to 4 bar, air mix uses an 11 nozzle at 80 to 110 bar, and airless runs the same 11 nozzle at 120 to 150 bar.
Mix the product thoroughly before use, keep application temperatures above 15°C, and clean tools with water straight after use or with AY M460 detergent once the film has dried. 10C762 is not recommended over nitrocellulose or polyurethane basecoats, only water-based, polyester or UV basecoats.
We can match virtually any colour from most major paint brands. Simply provide the brand name and colour name when placing your order. Our tinting system supports colours from Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Colourtrend, and many more.
Deep, vibrant, and dark colours may require additional pigment, so a colourant surcharge may apply. We’ll always contact you to confirm any extra charge before tinting your paint.
