Paint Lab is a paint and decorating supplier on Ballymount Drive, Dublin 12. The counter is open to everyone — contractors collecting for a site first thing in the morning, and anyone painting a back bedroom at the weekend. You do not need a trade account to buy from us, and you do not need to know the jargon to ask.
Come to the counter
You will find us on Ballymount Drive, in Ballymount Industrial Estate, Dublin 12. We are open Monday to Thursday from 7am to 5pm, Friday from 7am to 3.30pm, and Saturday from 8am to 2pm. We stock the brands painters ask for by name — Tikkurila, Juno, Wooster, Mirka, ProDec, Blue Dolphin — alongside the filling, sanding, masking, spraying kit and workwear that goes with them. Paint is mixed to order at the counter: bring a colour code or something to match and we will sort it. Because tinted paint is made for you it cannot be returned, so take a tester first if you are unsure of a shade. Click and collect is free, whatever the size of the order.
Or have it delivered
Standard delivery anywhere on the island of Ireland, north and south, is €6.99 on orders up to 30kg, and free once you spend over €85 (on orders up to 30kg). Heavier orders are charged by weight, and anything over 100kg goes out on a pallet. Orders placed before midday on a working day usually leave the same day and arrive within one to three working days. You have 14 days to change your mind and a further 14 days to send anything back, with the exception of paint that has been tinted or mixed to order. If you paint for a living, you can apply for a trade account online and we will come back to you.
