Rigalit Dust Bag Fleece for Mirka Dust Extractor 30L (5 Pack)
The bag is what stands between sanding dust and the extractor's filter. Let it blind over and the suction drops long before the drum looks full.
Rigalit Dust Bag Fleece for Mirka Dust Extractor 30L is a five pack of replacement fleece collection bags for Mirka's 30 litre extractors.
Which machines it is for
Mirka's 30 litre range is the 1230 series: the 1230 L PC, the 1230 L AFC and the 1230 M AFC. Those are the machines these bags are sold for. Mirka do not list a 1230 H, so if the job needs H class extraction, it is not this machine and not this bag.
When to change it
Go by the suction, not by the fill level. Plaster and filler dust is fine enough to blind the fleece off well before the drum is used up, so a bag that looks half empty can already be choking the airflow. If the machine starts leaving dust on the surface behind the sander, change the bag before you touch anything else.
On the AFC machines
The AFC models clean their own filter, and Mirka's own point about that is that you can run them without a bag at all. The bag is still the cleaner way to work, because it means you empty dust rather than tip it, but if you have run out mid job the machine will keep going.
