This profile foam interface pad is made for sanding shaped surfaces — profiles, grooves, mouldings and curves — where a flat sanding pad simply can't follow the contour. It suits trade decorators and confident DIYers restoring doors, windows and furniture.
The flexible 25 mm foam moulds to the shape of the surface, spreading even pressure so you get a consistent finish along beading and recessed detail without flatting the edges. It sits between the tool and the abrasive, turning a standard 81 x 133 mm setup into a profile-sanding solution. Used on a compatible random-orbital sander or a hand sanding block, it makes previously slow, awkward profile work faster, safer and more ergonomic, while protecting the surface quality. The pad accepts any 81 x 133 mm hook-and-loop abrasive in the same range, and pairs particularly well with fine finishing discs for de-nibbing and refreshing industrially painted joinery.
