Mirka Pad Saver 67 Hole - 150mm
The 150mm backing pad on a Deros 650 is a part you would rather replace once than three times. This is the layer that makes that happen.
The Mirka Pad Saver 67 Hole 150mm is a thin sacrificial disc that sits between the backing pad and the abrasive. It wears out, the pad does not. Mirka recommend one particularly when you are sanding continuously with net abrasives, which work on the pad face the whole time they are working on the wall.
One or five
We stock both. One is enough to see what it does to the life of your pad; five is what you want once you know, because a pad saver only protects anything if you actually change it when it is spent, and that does not happen if the last one is also the only one.
67 hole, for the 150mm pad
67 hole is the 150mm pattern. Match it to the pad on your machine rather than to the sander, because Mirka build pads in more than one pattern per size.
It is not an interface
An interface is thicker foam and it exists to soften the cut on curves and contours. This is thin and does not cushion. Two parts, two reasons, and we carry both in 150mm.
