Mirka Pad Saver 125mm 33 Hole (5 Pack)
Five pad savers, because one is never the right number of a part you are supposed to throw away.
Mirka Pad Saver 125mm 33 Hole in a five pack: 3mm sacrificial discs that sit between the backing pad on a 125mm Deros and the abrasive, so the wear lands on them rather than on the pad. If you already know you want them, this is the sensible way to hold them.
The sums
A backing pad is one of the dearer consumables on the machine. A pad saver is a few euro. Running one means the pad lasts a good deal longer, and the only way that works is if you actually change the saver when it is worn, which you will not do if the last one in the drawer is also the only one.
Not an interface
Worth being clear, because we stock both in 125mm and they look similar. A pad saver is thin and protects the pad. An interface is thicker foam, 5mm or 10mm, and its purpose is to soften the cut for curves and contours. Different parts, different reasons, and the interface does not protect the pad the way this does.
