Mirka Hose with Connector 27mm x 4m
A sander with the extraction disconnected is just a dust pump. This is the hose that joins the two.
The Mirka Hose with Connector 27mm x 4m is an antistatic extraction hose for Mirka machines and extractors that take a 27mm connection, supplied with the connector fitted.
Getting the size right
Mirka do not use one hose size across the range, so this is the part worth checking before you order. 27mm is the size on the power tool and extractor side, and it is what the 1230 and 1242 extractors are supplied with. The hand sanding blocks take a 20mm hose instead, which we sell as a separate item. A 20mm block will not take this hose.
Why antistatic matters
Dust moving through a hose builds a static charge. The antistatic construction carries that away instead of letting it collect, which stops fine dust clinging to the bore and keeps the airflow steady through a long session. On a 4m run that is the difference between suction you can rely on and suction that fades.
