These fit the Roll Roy Plastic Snap Knife and any other standard 18mm snap-off knife — the format is universal.

What a sharp blade actually saves you

• Wallpaper trims cleanly rather than dragging and tearing at the ceiling line, which is exactly where a poor cut is most visible.
• Masking tape cuts square, so the paint line stays crisp instead of creeping under a ragged edge.
• Caulk scores properly before removal, instead of smearing along the joint.
• Less force needed, which means fewer slips. Most knife injuries happen when someone is leaning hard on a blunt blade.

Using the snap-off properly

Each blade carries several segments, and they exist to be used. Snap one the moment you feel drag rather than waiting for the blade to give up entirely.

Use the slot in the end of the knife to snap — not pliers, not your fingers — and put the snapped piece straight into a blade tin. A loose segment in a bin bag is how somebody else gets cut.

Storage

Keep them dry. Loose blades rattling around a damp van will spot with rust, and a rusted edge cuts no better than a blunt one.
