Safeline Pallet Wrap Roll 400mm x 200m

Pallet wrap is one of those items that gets bought for one purpose and then used for six. On a decorating job, it's rarely wrapping a pallet.

This is a 400mm × 200m roll of stretch wrap — the clear, self-clinging film that grips to itself under tension and needs no tape at all.

What decorators actually use it for

• Wrapping furniture that can't leave the room. Faster than sheeting and taping, and it holds itself on awkward shapes — chairs, lamps, table legs.
• Anchoring dust sheets at the base of a wall, or holding sheeting around a banister or newel post.
• Bundling poles, trestles, battens and rolled sheeting for transport, so nothing works loose in the van.
• Wrapping loaded rollers and brushes during a break. The film excludes air, so the sleeve doesn't skin over between coats.
• Protecting handles, spindles and ironmongery that would take far longer to mask properly with tape.

Why it works where tape doesn't

Stretch wrap clings to itself, not to the surface underneath. Nothing adhesive touches a polished, painted or veneered finish — so there's no residue, no lifted paint when it comes off, and no anxious calculation about how long it's safe to leave in place.

It also comes off fast. One cut down the side and the whole wrap lifts away in a single piece, which matters when you're clearing a room at the end of a job.
