Anza Knife Replacement Blade 18mm (12 Pack)

Snap-off blades exist so you always have a sharp edge, and almost nobody snaps them often enough. A dull 18mm blade doesn't cut wallpaper — it drags and tears it. On masking tape it leaves a ragged edge that paint creeps under, and you find out at the laying-off stage.

This is a twelve-pack of 18mm replacement blades for the Anza snap-off knife.

Getting the most from them

• Snap at the first sign of drag, not when the blade finally gives up. Each blade carries several segments and using all of them is the point — a blade you nurse along is costing you a torn seam.
• Snap it safely. Use the slot in the end of the knife, not pliers and not your fingers. Snapped segments are razor sharp and belong in a blade tin.
• Pull, don't push. Snap-off blades flex, and pushing one along a straight edge is how they break mid-cut.

What they're for

Trimming wallpaper at skirtings, ceilings and reveals. Cutting masking film and paper. Scoring old caulk before you rake it out. Opening sacks of filler.

General decorating cutting, in other words — the jobs where a blunt edge shows up in the finished work rather than just being irritating.

Twelve blades per pack. Standard 18mm snap-off format, so they fit any 18mm knife, not only the Anza.
