Anza Knife with Single Snap-Off Blade

The detail that separates a good snap-off knife from a cheap one is the lock. A blade that creeps back into the body mid-cut is dangerous and useless in equal measure.

This one locks automatically — extend the blade and it holds where you put it, with no wheel to tighten and no lever to remember.

Why auto-lock matters

Trimming wallpaper at a ceiling line means one hand on a rule, one on the knife, both above your head. That is the worst possible moment for a blade to slide back into the handle. An automatic lock removes the step you'd otherwise forget.

It also holds the blade firm under sideways load. Trimming along a straight edge pushes the blade laterally, and a loose blade wanders off the line you're following.

Replacement blades sold in packs of twelve.
